Turbo Info


Ok gents i got a friend who needs some info on roughly how much he'll be lookin at if he wanted to put in a mild turbo in his 07 v6 mustang. maybe a t30 hp increase at psi's and what not any info will be appreciated.

and my 2.3 parts supplier now makes a kit for the new edge V6 mustangs

Yeah i read it but he's kinda leaning towards the s/c but considering he drives from here to nor*cal it'd be better if he had a turbo. How much would we be talkin as far as price for this setup? It's kinda something i'm lookin at for my 5.4 f150. but that was a really informative thread!

powerhouse has a turbokit for your friend
9psi will have him at roughly 370rhwp
a t30 is pussy for a 07 V6 drop a bigger turbo for sure. like a gt45r =)

we just so happen to have a 2.3 at my school were gonna tare apart and rebuild...im working on a 3.8 instead thouhg...to many people fuked with the 2.3...it has my name on it though in white out...

no $2500 is the starting price just for the turbo, hot side piping and cold side, thats it

no 2.3 turbo kits made

What is the highest amount of HP you can put into a stock V6 using just a s/c or t/c, CIA, and new exhaust while still staying within safe limits? Like all you change is the intake, the exhaust and you're putting in a turbo or a super. What is the highest safe HP limit?

And then...what is the highest you could get when you change all sorts of stuff out? (ex. intake, exhaust, headers, sc/tc, pulleys, internals, etc.)

I've no clue what that is supposed to mean. Is that 17 psi in addition to the 14.7 standard psi?

14.7 = air fuel ratio on a N/A stock engine.

17PSI means 17 pounds per square inch more of air entering the combustion chamber. we call this boost
