modding 96 3.8 help!

i dont exactly have a large budget to play with due to the fact of shipping to Alaska is killer, but i would like to mod the ole 3.8 some. im not looking for a whole lot of horses, just something to give me a little more power. i have a cold air intake (which will soon be replaced) and im looking to get a mac cat-back exhaust. can anyone give any advice on what products i should go with? its an automatic and i have a big sound system if that helps. thanks

best bang for the buck and a kick in the pants... 4.10 gears with t-loc, only thing is gas mileage is slightly affected

should run around 400 roughly

waste of money unless u enter contests and shows... u can't see engine stuff unless ur parked!!! um intake maybe a bbk cold air induction and for exhaust its best to do all at once long tubes if u can that is(depends on ur emmisions) o/r h-pipe(also if u can), and magna flow catback for the win

if emmisions is hard on u go shorty headers, highflow h-pipe and magnaflow cat back... need anything else just ask

well my car is registered in alabama so i have no emmissions. i was looking into getting some headers and an off-road h-pipe. i have 2 flomaster 40series mufflers but no local exhaust shop to weld them on. i was looking for bolt ons for my exhaust. i have also heard that the mac strait shot intake was well worth the money. is this true? and i have also heard that for a not highly modded v6 its best to use 2.25 exhaust tubing vice 2.5.. is there that much of a difference between the two?

if u have no emmisions get long tube headers ceramic coated for 318 at rpm-mustangs.com and then go with the shortie H from there also for 150, are the flows for the gt midpipe or v6? umm i don't know about the mac straight shot, so im not gonna feed u a line of BS, and u should look at the future of ur cars mods... id go with the 2.5" becuase if u ahve more plans it will be better off later on, the 2.25 would be good for almost stock v6 with minor mods

the flows came off of a 2001 v6 stang.. not sure what type of exhaust he was running. i was hitnking about selling them and juss getting a full system. ill definitely look into the products from rpm-mustangs.com. ill definitely go with the 2.5 cuz i have no idea about the future of the car. i want to get a 99-04 vertible but that will still be about 2 years away so im gonna play with this car for a while. im contemplating on goin with a turbocharger. and if i do that what type of computer mods would i need?

well shit nm i totally missed the topic for your car... there are no companys that make the long tubes for the pre99 stangs, sry im really tired lol, but they do have some nice products there, u would have to have a big tune for the turbocharge i beleive but don't know much about that so im not gonna lead u in the wrong direction, but im out for the nite i can hardly keep my eyes open

If your going to put the flowmaster 40's on.. they have a real deep tone that i like but everyone has different preferences..i love them on my car and all i have is the cat back too .. sounds better than an 05 gt (my mom has 1 so i know) and she agreed
