cheap ways to mod your 3.8/3.9 split port

I started about 2 months ago just messin around with different items on my V6. I did some Lightening and also some very cheap mods, some were free.
I started by polishing my throttle body and half shafting it, this allows for smoother air flow into your motor and a slight increase of HP. Its a very simple proceeder as long as you have a Dremel tool ( it takes alot of explaining so i will only tell if someone asks. Then I made a rear strut tower cross bar, All you need is a piece of High strength steel and flatten the ends out at the correct length ( I had to buy some 10mm nuts and lock washers for that one). then, for those with a '99-'04 mustang, I cut open my fake hood scoop ( once again i used a Dremel, and remember a dust mask) I used Hardware cloth to create a screen to fit in the newly opened hole. this ONLY allows more cold air into the engine compartment( it helps your engine run cooler and keeps your intake from sucking up as much warm air). If you have any questions on how any of this is done just ask, I like to help.

another use for your dremel.....
I recently bought a small cylinder hone ment for really small cylinders ( like lawnmowers or dirtbikes) i put in on my dremel and ran that thing up and down all the ports on my upper and lower intake, I even removed the freeze plugs and did the plenums on the upper.......its well worth it and only costs you the hone and the time, alot of time
