Low Profile Tire Series, How Low Is Too Low?

My dad is somewhat worried about the control I will have with low profile tires. I am curious to know what is the lowest series tire I can get and still be fairly safe on 18" Rims for a Daily Driver.

Thanks Steam

... low profile tires shouldn't be a concern of his ... why? cause they don't look good on mustangs... IMO don't go lower then 40's just for a look reason ... 30 for a safety reason

see i like the old muscle car look...some 15x10's in the back and some 15x8's in the front im a fan of more tire compared to more rim...but thats IMHO...
