Having trouble turning over?


latley its taking a a little longer to start my car not much longer but noticible is this my battery or could it be the altornater? any input would help thanks guys

Not sure if there is a temp change where your from, but it is probably just that it is getting colder

well ya itsussually like 80 or 90 but its now like 70-50 deg so u think thats what it is its not freezing out but its getting colder than usual

yeah it is just the temp change 30-40 degrees is pretty big so it will be fine again once the weather evens itself out

what weight oil are you running? it might be time to switch to thinner oil. 5w-20 is good for the winter and 10 or 15w-30 is good for the summer if you have higher miles.

get thinner oil if ur not using it rigth now.. it will help you..

I dont think he wants to run 5w20 in florida a good 10w30 should be fine for him

whats ford recommend? im pretty sure 5w20 is it and it should be ok in Florida. i run 5w20 all year around and it gets any where from -35*c here to +40-45*C

Ford says 5w-20


we used to use it until the car got 120k miles

now we are using 10w-30

I always used 10w30 5w20 is almost water when it get about 80 degrees not sure what that is in c sry jug im failing chem for a reason lol

80F would be like 38C


I live @ P.R we get very hot climate 86-100 all year te only thing changin is humidity.. and the dealerships still say 5w-20

well dealerships always go by manufactures specs, they put 5w20 in my scion and the onlw reason i allow that is cause it is a free change. I like 5w30 for my scion, but any way i would never put 5w20 in any car it is way to thin IMO

switch from a 10w to a 5w
