this project is still definately in the planning stages and it will be for awhile, but i dont want to be diving in head first not knowing what will and will not work. better to do it right the first time and not have to worry about it down the road.

i do most of my builds "in stages" so to speak, stage one build turbo kit, stage two beef up drivetrain, stage three build motor. ect...

11's would be sick, but id have to look into a roll cage when i get there haha 11.9 and faster at my local strip you need a roll cage.

Sounds like you have a great idea not a dumb one. I plan on going TT as well. I still have a few other mods that I need to do first though. You have come to the right place. I know that when I am ready to tackle the project that there are several people here on MM that can help me out. By the way Welcome to MM.

ok with the tt setup, two external wastegates set at lets say 4 psi each. that will yeild 8 psi total, for some reason this isnt clicking with my head, i have a bunch of reasons in my head saying no but just as many saying yes,

TT is a very good idea. there are lots of people on this site that can help you. if you need help ask itschristorres8 or TurboLX. they both have good knowledge of turbo's... and Cricket as well

you knowww

you could always build that motor up really well and not even have to twin turbo it.

a turbo alone can do good...

you dont need twin turbo or the sequential TT set up

a single would be easier to start with
you can still push big numbers with a single too
and fast 1/4 times
you'll need 2 wastegates for a twin yes. and if you wana do 11s then you'll need about 11-12psi and a good driver mod
and a good tune
tuning will be VITAL! especially for that much boost on a stock bottom end and top end im assuming

build a n/a motor, yeah i could do that, but thats not the route i wanna go

single turbo, yeah, but id have to run a bigger turbo than what i was thinking about using for the twin setup. making a potentially potent car but with massive turbo lag.

the tt setup i like because i can use two smaller turbos, that will start to spool lower in rpms than a single large would, but not only that but chose the right turbos and it will be hard to max out the efficency of the turbos. not to mention the "Ooh" factor at car shows or the track.

oh i understand totally about having to do extensive tuning, you cant skimp there. To start, id probably run 8psi or so with good tuning, id have a wbo2 to help get a good street tune then possibly some dyno time to fine tune it. i dont think i want to push the motor too far being all stock. i want it to be reliable, which takes time and yes money.

i appreciate the help guys
