More Problems With My Car...

it seems that my car is just getting worse... my exhaust is putting out white smoke when i start it up and idle. i cant see it once i start moving so im not sure if it does it when i pull out. im hoping there is an easy fix for this.

is it cold outside? typical of cold starts and also typical of big problems such as uncombusted fuel due to headgasket and other problems

yea its cold now but its done it before. it used to start doing it but would quit when i changed my oil. but its started doing it alot now. i hope it is just the cold

but mine was doing it a little bit in the summer when it was hotter than hell for where i live

it should not do it unless it is a cold start. do you have any check engine light codes being thrown?

nope... it did that in the summer but i fixed it

Mine puts out white smoke too. I thought that was normal? After I drive around for alittle bit it stops though.

if it is white smoke it is probably just a minor oil leak, get some stop leak for the oil and put it in next change you should be good.

That is normal. Until your O2 sensors heat up your car will run in an open loop. so it will run rich and puff out white smoke. after it warms up and the fuel system enters a closed loop state if you have cats you should see little to absolutly no smoke at all from a properly running v6 motor.

My car on a cold start here was 3*c this morning it idled for about 2 min with white smoke then it warmed up and you could not see my emissions at all.

white smoke = Un-spent fuel/ Burning coolant.
blue/black smoke = burning of carbon build up and or oil
