Okey, i just started it up and at first it fired up to about 1,800 rpms then droped to about 600 and for about 15 second was bouncing around from 600 to 1500 then finally settled at 1200 rpms at idle. I then shut if off and started it back up and it jumped to about 1900 rpms then dropped to about 800 then settled at 1200. Also one other thing i noticed at 117mph it still seems to slow down, it does keep going to bury the speedometer but you can notice a sudden loss of power at 117. And the check engine light is on, im assuming this is from the o2 sensors? Any idea why it has so little power from a stop? you would think with all the mods i have done it would at least be able to squeal the tires a bit without having to use the brakes

Its going to be really hard for me to come up with that 300 dollars but it is possible. How safe is it to run the car as it is? And 2002blgt do you reccomend going with the larger fuel injectors?

that fast your getting out of your power band, and if it isn't dying now you should have your power down low, you didn't have any power cause you didn't have enough fuel

was the check engine light on before this tune , or did that just come on ? if so load the previous tune on it till you can get some A/F readings , if the car is still slowing at 117 then you will need to email Sniper about that. I took off all the limiters on the tune that I could see .....their maybe something on it that I am missing. Larger injectors will not hurt anything , just have to makes some minor adjustments , no big deal though ....

well i have never seemed to have any down low power, even when the car was almost stock with just exhaust, gears and posi it has always seemed to be very poor at low end performance and thats why i went with the 4.10's is to have more low end power. I am going to go take the car for a test drive. I will camcord it so you all can see, but i dont know how well i can camcord and drive at the same time so i guess we will see. I have have already come up with a way to get the $300 so i can get the wideband a/f.

19s should be fine. Sounds like it fixed itself when you added the fuel and the CEL is probably because he is comming out of the o2 sensors range at that speed. with 4.10s he wouldst have much gear left

you need to do a test for a vacuum leak... that is another culprit you want to look at!

vacuum and oil pressure simply get a vacuum gauge from an auto store hook it up to a vacuum line... oil pressure where your oil filter is (oil pump) you'll see a spot where an alan wrench/key can take out a fitting. take it out hook up an oil pressure gauge and see where your at, at idle both at idle since thats where the problem is your vacuum should be anywhere from 18-22ingh oil pressure i forget for idle i wana say 20-25psi but idk its around 40 either i forget |

Well im uploading a video of me driving it right now but its taking awhile to load so ill post it when its done but im just goning to say this right now. I was in a fight last week and have a broken jaw (broke in two places adn had to have plates put in) so my face is still pretty swollen, and there is some horribly birght green light on the camera so i blinked alot. But it seems as if the car from a dead stop climbs the rpms slowly, then all of a sudden takes off but there is that little delay that makes my low end so weak. Also in this new video you will see where right after starting it and puting it into gear the car is about to kill. And throughought the video i tried to get both the road and the guages while driving so it kinda bounces around.

So how much does this vaccum gauge cost, and any vacum line will work? As for the oil presure gauge does how much does that cost and are you talking about the allen screw that you remove to take off the timing cover? Can i purchase these gauges at Napa? Checkers? Also, i should still get the wideband right? what brand shold a get? a link would be great.

YOu can get them at napa yeah there about 30 bucks for a set with oil, vacuum and water temp. Didn't you say earlier that you had a leak from a gasket?

yea, but from the exhaust manifold gasket where the headers bolt to the heads, that wouldnt be causing a vacum leak or this crazy idling .... Would it? It is a vey small leak and hard to notice, near impossible to notice at idle. But did anyone hear the ticking in the video because i belive that is a rocker arm slaping but just wanted some input before i take of the valve covers and everything to tighten it down if that really isnt happening.
