i personalt would go with manual cut outs it is a lot cheaper and all u have t odu is screw/ unscrew 6 wingnuts it i less then five minut job
i personalt dont have cut outs but i had open header for a cuple weeks and i think it sounded good

ya, thats true, but can you get out of your car, get under it and unscrew them and get back in before the light turns green

why dont u jus run open header all the time? Ive been running open headers since March. People always ask what i got under the hood.

to get the pypes electric exhaust cutouts for my car do i have to buy the pypes x change xpipe and mount them to it or can they be fabricated to any h or x pipe?

Also myeleanor, it isn't legal in a lot of states to run open headers. With the electric cutouts he can be legal when he spots a cop. Plus it is cool to surprise people.

Not only will you get busted by the cops very easily (that may or may not apply to you depending on your state), but how much fun do you have with open headers on your V6 when people "what i got under the hood"? I bet it's fun telling them you only have a V6 with a "cheap man's" exhaust, lol. Just puttin' that out there.


I've been doing the research online for electric cutouts, because I'm about to get them myself. IMO, the best quality/price deal out there is the electric cut-outs from DMH Performance. They appear to make a good product for a really good price on the Internet. That's what I'm going to get.
