What Do You Think... Electric Cutouts

Hey there, i was just wondering what you guys think about the electric cutouts exhaust system. Are they pretty cool and should be a good mod, or not?

nothing worth having on a stock or close to stock car. Mainly made for high po street.strip cars that wanna run open headers at the track but need a full exhuast system to be street legal

~Yea, I have to agree with you, that would be an awesome freedom. Just being able to be illegal and then cover it up just as easy, lol.

electric cutouts sound nothing like open headers, IMO.

the hole for the cutouts is smaller then the hole for the headers

Yeah yeah, but its still a f*** louder than running exhaust, and I'm curious to see the gains running the s/c with cutouts & without

electric cutouts are a great idea for opening up the exhaust for some extra power (especially for occasional track use)

summit or jegs ... they don't make a kit or anything, they just have the cut outs that you need to install in your system

if your gonna get an exhaust with cutouts, you might as well save yourself the money and just buy the coutouts and install them right after the headers/before the y-pipe and just leave the rest stock. if i could go back i wouldve done that cuz a loud exhaust doesnt seem to be appreciated by the cops around here
