Quick Question About Exhaust Tips

im looking for some 3.5" stainless rolled tips but here is a question... The pipes for my exhaust are going to be 2.5" so should the inlet for the tips be 2.5" or should it be a 3" inlet? i was thinking 3" inlet but i want to double check before i buy anything. thanks guys

Hey man, as you know I'm not an expert, but it seems to me that the inlet should be the same as your pipes. I could be wrong though. Why don't you ask the shop that is doing your exhuast?

I got my new CAI I'm just waiting for a reasonably warm day(that I don't have to work) to put it on. I'll have a pic of my new rims for you at thanksgiving when I'll have access to my parents digital camara. Also, just had to spend about $450 on repairs, but she's running great.

yeah that seems to make sense to me too. However, it won't hurt to ask the people at the shop, since they'll be the ones putting them on.
