Found Out Whats Wrong With The Stang!

And we were all wrong...hahaa....i thought it was a coil pack, piston ring,or head gasket but it turned out to be my god damn computer! It wouldnt quit telling the #6 injector to stop firing...somehow it got stuck...so now the mechanic is looking for a computer....only thing is..my car is OBD1 so hes having trouble...hopefully he finds one soon....

yah the one i posted is for AT but you can have it changed to MT with a tuner or a stealership. all they have to do is remove the torque retard on shift and thats about it otherwise there is no TCM for the PCM to command so it would work. might show a cell tho. i know u can have tunes made for the at to mt swap.

yah im unsure if this would work for him tho? might plug right into the master harness and work. or it might not work at all. i really dont know. if the sensors are the same as well as the harness then i dont see why it wouldn't.

i hear an obd2 swap!!

have your mech try and see if an obd2 plug fits in your PCM... some of the 94-94's were obd2 to try and see how the obd2 system would work on the mustangs and ease the transition on the GT's so it is possible that yours might have the obd2...

so take a look... and if its doesn't... look for an obd2 out of a 96-97 and swap out the whole harness
