For your car the best mod you can buy is a GT engine. It's a little more than $500 but that's the best idea I've got for you.

if you a buy a GT engine for whatever it cost... then how much would it cost to get a shop to take out your old engine and install the GT and everything to work properly

you could get a motor for 700-1000 used and working properly, plut wiring, rear end, full exhaust, etc. you will spend more than most people who go all out on a v6 and still be slower than a modded 6

a GT motor? how much is that kinda surgery gunna cost?! plus the motor. thnks but that sounds like quite a task. plus shippin a motor cant be cheap. thnks though, ive actually thought about that but gettin a cobra motor, ony idk if it would fit.

why does everyone go straight to V8 or bust... modded V6 will be faster than a slight modded V8, a V6 is what 8,000 and put 4-5 into it and ull be faster and some stock V8 in good condition are not 12-13k...

and i'd say that would be enough to hang with V8's if not beat it

with 4-5 grand u can get twin turbo and hang with cobra's and beat some.

just think a V8 is 15k+ then you put 5 into it and keep up with cobras if im not mistaking something

for sure v6, a twin turbo kit cost like $4,000 about i think at TMA. puttin it in and tunning it might be $1000 or a lil more but u deffinitly got a fast car! ive seen a video of a Twin turboed v6 doin 11's on www.streetfire.net i wish i could find the video but if i had that kinda money right now i'd love to do that. especially since my car costed $7500 w/31k mi. plus 6-7grand w/ other mods n ive got a 11 or high 10 second v6. which is RARE n beats the 04 cobras, and that new GT500 and i save over about 20 grand...NICE!

Yea, and with a sixer and you beat a cobra you can still say "Dude...you just got beat by a v6." We may have to do a little more work, but we have a lot of fun workin with what we got, and makin it somethin that scares bigger engines.

exactly, i was crusieing the other nite and some guy asked me at a lite if i was supercharged... i was like its a 6 with a few bolt ons, he complimented on it and was in a v8 stang, and basically we messed around for a lil till i got to a friends house, and he gave me a thumbs up with what i got. Some guy in a TA shook his head when i dropped it next to me and gave me the no thanks im a pussy look haha

v6 with gears, full exhaust and nitrous will beat stock v8's and for half the cost or less of insurance. add forged internals and high boost, you can make a lighter weight 6 quicker than a higher hp applicated 8.

but bolt ons are always a good start
