because it depends on who does the testing
and the basis on the testing.

that wasnt epa it was based on people submitting averages
you can comapre it to the epa one though

So you know, the EPA estimates for the 3.8/3.9 are the same... With a difference of less than .1L and everything else being exactly the same, there's no scientific basis for a change in gas mileage =/

18
city

27

how the hell am i suppose to get 27 on the hwy?!
best i ever got was 25 on the high way... that was leaving lincoln on a full tank, and stopping 40 miles later to fill up to see what i got

theres only one true way in measuring your gas...you cant do measure miles then when your thing ssays half a tank you divid by half a tank
do this

fill up to full
0 your miles
drive say 100miles or so or even 50 miles
and fill up again. when it gets full see how many gallons it took to fill up..if you get say 2.3 gallons divid that by your miles you drove since you last filled up. that simple
thats how i measured my 18-19mpg
and 15 stepping on it and racing at the track

also driving til your almost empty wont work either because even when you thing says your close to empty you really have about 3 gallons left in your tank
