at idle mine is at 700RPMs which is about normal for an 99-04 but 500 or under is way to low. take it to a shop and have it checked out

my car does the same thing, but it is due to my new cam. You are not getting enough fuel at your idle rpms. Have you swapped cams or gotten a tune. You could possilby have a problem with your fuel pump or fuel filter but i have not solved my problem either

check your sensors... does your car have any problems idleing at the start... like setting into idle when you start the car?

and grab some cleaner to make it run better i had mine done at a shop... they cleaned the O2s the IAT and MAF and IACs all for $30 which is about how much i could buy the supplies for

when it gets around 500 your car starts to stall and it shakes and becomes a bit jerky. like i said turn up the idle or check the IAC like AB said. if its a little old maybe a pvc valve? or some new plugs or fuel filter. but usually shakes are from either.. not enough gas.. or one of your cylinders not igniting in which case your car wouldn;t run very well to begin with. so start with the top and work your way down in options to do.

idle
IAC
PVC
Fuel filter
spark plugs

after that maybe a trouble code might pop up and the check engine light will come on if it sticks around then that will give us a better idea

i noticed the problem when i put on a cai ever sincethen it started so it might be the maf

like i said i jusr replaced the iac and the tps ..the fuel filter is about a month or so old i replaced the whole egr system because my check engine light was on ..so far no trouble codes but my abs light has been on forever but that shouldnt affect my idle..pcv valve was changed on my last oil change which was about a month and a half ut i havent driven it much since then

that would be my guess.

Has the car been tuned by anyone? Adding a CAI will often make for lean conditions and a tune can straighten that right up.
