Winter Tires

I will be buying new tires for this winter and i was wondering if narrow tires are better or wider tires.

Ive heard wider tires are but there is more weight in a smaller area on narrow tires which helps. Can you guys give me of an example tires size for front and back which will be better in the snow. Thanks

wheels AND tires cheap..

great for winter beater tires imo

you would just have to buy one extra rim which you can get for like $25.00 at most junk yards.

Thanks for the help but I changed my mind i was looking to put new winter tires on my stock rims and when it starts getting nice out in the spring im getting new rims and summer tires. Then next winter i can just put the old rims back on my mustang.

Narrow tires are better and Bridgestone Blizzaks are the best.

Is there any good sites to buy the Bridgestone Blizzaks for cheap other than tirerack.com?
