Yeah that sounds about right....you'll have to put a hell of a lot of money into your car to see 300+ rwhp N/A...

bore and stroke.
port and polish the lower intake go with a port and polished windstar intake. Increase the throttle body size to allow for more air. bigger fuel injectors More air more gas more power upgrade the cylinders. get a higher performance cam. get a lighter driveshaft to redce parasitic loss. you could get 350 to the wheels

it sound good but you can tell that it's a v6 as soon as it gets higher in the rpm band

If SSMS 4.3L stroker can't do it then nobody can! Unless you go with some crazy high race only CR, and Cam then maybe...
