i have an old bronco with the 351 windsor what would it take to drop that either into my v6 (if i ditch the 4.2 from precision) or in a fox body??

not much if you put it in the fox i believe they both run on a similar computer system... it might just be a switch of the ECU and just beefing up the suspension... also they might even pre make the motor mounts for that kinda swap... this is a question that belongs in our foxbody section... though seeing as you had interest in putting it in your v6 i can understand why its here...
Keep the six as your all day great milage and make the windsor your track/race car

Put it in the fox it would be a mechanics and a fabricators nightmare to get it to work in the v6.

well the tranny deffinitly wont work with it. im sure they have a differnt bell housing you could hook up...maybe a C4 tranny
![]() and if you bore that sucker out to a 383 or 408 you'll deffinitly at least be in the mid low 11s with it in a fox depending how you keep the top end

you could do that... they have them on the f.p.s site but...
"FPS can fulfill any power adder requirement, whether you need nitrous, superchargers or turbos; FPS is your full service solution. Call us for your specific application. We have amazing blow out deals and will beat any advertised priced." so yea might wanna get on the phone with them tomorrow or something

for sure i can tell this is goin to be fun project but i think the 1st things to do is getting the fox body and rebuilding the motor and getting the carbs then ill really research power adders

no no no the first thing you need to do is rob a bank ...
then look for a solid fox body... don't forget your suspension and you might wanna look into some sub frame connectors... and the rear end might need an oil change or gear change

i know it aint gonna be cheap... this is what i figure and im prolly completly wrong with these prices but i figured around 2500 for the fox body maybe even less, no idea on the strocker kit maybe 3 g's or so and the carbs prolly 500 hundred a piece not to mention all the little problems that ill prolly run into but its still will be a fun project somethings i can do myself and others i've got a good mechanic that'll do it for cheap... btw what's the diff. between a fox body and a solid fox body
