Underdrive Pully

  • Proof Positive the MOTOBLUE H.O. Pulley Kit will not effect your charging system.
    INDEPENDENT TEST RESULTS:

  • MOTOBLUE H.O. Pulley Kit Installed
    1. Engine running everything else off: 13.8 V @ idle (750 RPM) ... 14.06 V @ 2500 RPM
    2. Add A/C (low blower speed): 12.55 V @ idle ... 13.94 @ 2000 RPM
    3. Add Rear Defrost: 12.11V @ idle
    4. Add Stereo w/amp (low vol): 12.05 V
    5. Add Headlights (low beams): 11.83 V
    6. All above @ 2000 RPM: 13.65 V

    Note: idle voltage requirment ... 12.00 V

i copied that from the rpm outlet website. they say that you need 12.00 V to idle but yet the headlights drop the voltage to 11.83 V. Is that something i should look into? Also i have a 1200 watt subwoofer + amp that draw up to 50 amps of current. would that be too much to handle with an under drive pully set.

thanks

if you go RPMoutlet it might take a while to get the parts... they don't do direct stock and ship ... they ship from the manufacturer to you... so its not reliable at all... i still advise you to go to VMPtuning.com

I think the op was asking if he would have undercharging issues with his sub and amp...Yes you verry well may. Get the alternator pulley as well and you will be ok

No, the post is not stupid. The kid has a question. You didn't know all your shit at one point in time. Seriously man get off your high horse and start helping people again. Your not that much help anymore. The whole badass poster shit isn't cool.

Dude Rpmoutlet is known to screw people over. I got my underdrive pulleys for my sixer when I had it from vmptuning.com and couldn't have been happier.

Best thing you can do is just get the alt pulley to be on the safe side. I was undercharging with my old sixxer and threw the alt pulley on and it was fixed. It's better to have it and not have the problem, then to have it and deal with the annoyances of it.

i didnt even read the last part nor finish the first.
i dont comment on here that much. i look at topics which ever may interest me or not annoy me i'll look in. i dont read 1/2 the threads here anymore because of the rediculous threads that we have sometimes

im not going to argue either.
im not being cocky
ive PM'd people because some information that gets passed out isnt true. i could go back to the itschristorres8 that i was on here when i first came on...remember him? every thread was a battle

and i'll admit
this post i f*ked up
i thought he worked for rpm-outlet and was trying to prove they're stuff is good. i didnt read everything correctly.
