yup.

you would need to correct your speedometer as well.

you can buy a speeda cal for around $100
if your car is gear driven (96-98) you can buy a speedo gear instead.. and they are very cheap.

or you can just buy a tuner.

Wrong, the only way you can change your speedometer is through the computer with the tune.

the new edges must be done through the computer... you might be able to have it done at a wheel and tire shop ... but im not sure...

also the $700 part comes in being the T-lok ... or the limited slip rear differential ... GET ONE!! you will not regret it at all ! !

94-98 CANNOT BE TUNED by hand helds for a gear set have to get a speed-o gear or a speed cal

99+ HAVE TO BE TUNED for a gear set no other way period.

your correct.

the speedometer isn't gear driven.
It's electronically driven.
therefore you much go through the computer to correct it unlike the 98-98 mustangs since they were gear driven..

you can EITHER tune it with a speedcal (speedcal is the brand)
OR a hand held tuner such as an xcal or sniper.

so where was I incorrect again?

The 94-98 sixers can't be changed with a tune.

99+ have the option of a tune or a speedcal.

Let me refraise that. Speed cal can only be used 94-04 manual transmission cars and 94-98 automatic transmission cars. If one has a 99+ auto, then it must be done via a tuner.
