Yeah a 289 is a 195 hp monster, the 302 came with 230 hp...I love the cars just dont have the money or time to restore one

again the heaviest stangs ever built are 05+ the reason they don't move well is because they are equiped with 40 year old technology.

The 1970 Mustang has a curb weight of about 3400 lbs. They are not as heavy as most people seem to think. It weighs maybe 150 lbs. more than the 02 sixer Mustang.
