Was it a boss model? if so your toast...if it was the 220 hp version then you may not do so bad...old cars are HEAVY

Yeah man your mods make you sound good but don't add much HP. He has more performance oriented mods on a car that is probably faster to begin with. You're toast!

i could be wrong but aren't both cars around 3100lbs? older mustangs aren't heavy. my 66 is 2750 dry weight

A 289 you should beat, a 302 will be close and the bigger motors will get you

the performance difference in a 302 and a 289 is minimal
