V6 exhaust help


Hi, i just bought a 2006 v6 mustang. i would like to get the deep rumble of a muscle car from the exhaust but i know nothing about cars. (yes i am female) Does anyone have any sugesstions, that wont cost an arm and a leg and doesnt involve changing the whole exhuast?

Flowmaster 40's, go to your local or nearest exaust shop, n they'll do probably for around $350. thats how much mine costed. if u want dual exaust that is... single...(i dont recomend for a v6) would be cheaper

i got dual flowmaster 40's on mine for 340 after taxes and it sounds amazing

magniflow is quieter at idol, but sounds better on throtle under normal acceleration than flowmaster imo

If you go with duals, remember for it to look right your gonna have to get the GT rear bumper

Im with him also, and to get the point across frist, it wont sound like a v8 do to even firing from the 6, but it could be close at low RPM's

First off WELCOME TO MM!

Second, I'd go with the flowmaster 40's, they would also be my fav for sound/price. If you want a true dual exhaust setup you could get a midpipe off of a Mustang GT (99-04) for a better flowing system. But yes you will want to get the rear GT bumper no matter what.
