Check Engine Light

i was on my way to school the other day when my check engine light came on. i had no idea what it could be. i put in a bomz cold air intake over 700 miles ago. i looked to see if that was the case by tightening all of the bolts again. i then checked to see if it was something stupid like a loose cap but it wasnt. my sister also backed in to me a few days before coming back to school. she hit my left front fender and left a nice size dent. i was just wondering if anyone might know what the problem could be.

no it will not ... again its best to get the codes pulled and then we can tell you whats wrong... or if you yourself took something off like the EGR device and didn't flash the computer then you know what your problem is but as you haven't said that you randomly rip things off your car it is next to impossible to tell what is wrong by just stating the simple fact that you have a CEL

okok cmon now go easy on him. go down to auto zone or some thing of the like and ask them if they can pull a code for you. then right it down and bring it back to us. be sure to ask auto zone if they can help identify the code for you 2.and try to refrain from posting the same issue multiple times. are you hearing a wiered noise coming from the car or noticing a lack in power at all when you hit the gas? she mihgt have jared a sensor when she hit you but i doubt it.
