Performance HELP

So i have a 2002 V6. I have an X Pipe with dual flowmasters. I am 17 and am still in high school. My parents are Pissy and wont let me get any "performance" parts like turbo or superchargers and stuff. But i really want the horsepower. Do you guys have any ideas. I have alot of money which i have been spending on the body work(wheels, grill, lights, ect...) I am trying to get some performance parts that my dad will let me get that will still add horsepower. If you guys could help that would be awesome...

Thanks

Hey Man...I know it sucks, but you should save your money and wait until you're 18. By then if you have as much as you say you do then you can do pretty much whatever you want(I wish I had that kinda cash when I was 17). Another thing that you might want to consider doing now (if your dad lets you) would be forged internals. It really isn't gonna add HP, but it will help get you ready to put a turbo in after you're 18 and daddy can't tell you what to do. You could tell him that it'll make your engine last longer. If you end up with a turbo...that would be true.

you could always work on the suspension and brakes.

it's an improvement as far as safety goes and I am sure you father would approve that.

i say do suspension, do a tuner... then get some things like gears and T-lok... and if your dad thinks that those are performance mods tell him they don't give you any horse power at all and i can prove it

He sure can if he's is paying for the kids food, shelter, car insurance, phone bill, college tuition, etc. But if you have enough money and a good job move out and be independent, thats the only way.
