I Need Help With My CAI

Hey guys I just got a new BOMZ CAI off of ebay and I need some help with the install. The kit said it came with directions, but what it came with is total crap. So I need help. Now I've done some searching and found some stuff about CAI installs but none for a 94-95 stang. I'm not sure if it's the same. For my 95 as it is for a 99-04. Plus I wasn't all that happy with what I found. I would really like something with pictures. I have some things in this kit that I've never seem before. Has anyone out there installed this kit on a 94-95 before? I really want to do this install myself, but I don't want to F*** it up. I know that this should be an easy install, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me a step by step with some pics. Thanks

Thanks Man. That is probably the best I've seem so far. It at least had a pic. I'm still a little unsure about disconnecting hoses and wiring as I'm not sure where it is that I'm putting them back. Also, everything I've found says I need to take the mass air flow sensor out of the airbox, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for there. Plus I still have these two "things" in my kit that I don't know what they are or where the go. They appear to have a hole to screw onto something (almost like a valve stem cap) but they seem to be really over engineered like they have to hold in some hardcore heat and pressure.

I guess I'll try to sell the tornado on ebay. It cost me $60 so I don't want to just toss it.

there are only 2 hoses to disconnect. just keep them connected at the other end and when you have the new pipe in place just plug them in.

this is your maf

BTW...I know that this is a dumb ass question, but what the hell is a grommet? I thought that grommets were little metal rings that reinforced holes in fabric.

the grommets in this case are the lil rubber pieces that are in the 2 holes where the stock intake kinda stands in. idk how to explain it better

Thanks guys. I have one more question. How exactly do I disconnect and reconnect the hoses and wires? I don't mean to be pain in the ass, but like I said, I don't want to F*** this up. And if those "things" are plugs for the MAI where would they go?

with a screw driver.
they are clamped on.

is this what you bought?

(see there the 2 metal tubes are on the intake pipe?
that's where your hoses will go.

That is very close to what I have. Mine has 2 small rubber nubs instead of the two metal tubes coming off the pipe. However, this picture shows the 2 "things" that I was talking about they are in the bottome right of the pic just below the little red tube.

WOW trooper that ROCKS!!!! That is just the kind of thing that I was looking for! However, I still don't know what those 2 "things" are. And I think that my hoses attach differently than on the MAC. But thanks...That is REALLY HELPFUL!
