Follow the Directions on the bottle guy.It says nothing about revvin the shit out of your motor for 20 seconds so you can Float some Valves and seize your head

I dont even use Seafoam, It's Trash and it eats your gaskets like there is no tomarrow.Plus do you wonder why your car wants to die when you are pouring it in your motor, Seafoam does not burn to well in your combustion chamber.IE thats why they want you to "rev" it up so it will try to burn it faster, and there chemicals can eat the crap off your manifold,TB,Intake side of the Head, pistons, cylinder walls, valves,

Seafoam didn't wreck your engine, you did.

What do you want to know about it? Its nothing new, the motor is 5 years old.

Ok here is my take on this... this guy MAY have a serious prob...yea he may have fuked up and redlined his motor and blew it up but thats no reason to be making premature assumtions and calling him retard and shit like that... take it as an adult and explain shit to him instead of being an 8th grader...geez

If you are going to rev your car. Don't just floor it and hold.. You need a new motor now.. goodjob.

It may be that the Sea Foam being a liquid hydaulic'd the engine. i.e. it is incompressible so can do damage if too much gets into a cylinder. I hope not because that could do serious damage, such as a bent rod.

seafoam is straight petroleum and if he haydrailic'd the engine hed know in a second.

id have cylinder through the roof and a rod sticking out the ass of his oil pan

its scary
my buddys 5.5 was a 5.0 threw a rod on the way bringing pizza to school.

your engine dies and you see a nice shiny object hanging from your oil pan

It probably depends on what RPM the engine reached. If the engine was over reved that was probably what did the damage. In any case it appears the engine was severely damaged which is unfortunate.

over revving an engine wont hyrdaulic it.
but it will burn out the seals

and destroy the interior components

I once vapor-locked the engine in a M998 up-armored humvee when I was in Iraq. The mechanic added nearly 3 quarts too much oil to it. It was shooting oil out of the exhaust. It was AWESOME!

if you do hydro-lock your engine one of your best bets is to take the spark plugs out and put a piece of cloth close to the holes to catch the liquids that will splash out when you crank it over... again do not put the cloth in the spark plug hole put it close to to catch liquids and then crank over the engine ... what this will do is push all fluids out and let your car start ... that is after you put the plugs back in...

this is also something you can do if you bend a rod and still need your car... just take out the rods to that piston and remove the plug that way the engine can turn with out doing damage and the piston doesn't get fucked up
