Looking For Tips On 99 V6
I am trying to find someone to help give me some ideas on what would be the best thing to do to start working on my car i just bought a stage 1 kit from steeda that came with a cold air intake underdrive pullies and a diablosport chip. i thought about turbo's on each side but i can't find any for my car. Please reply if you have ideas for me

what year is your car....as for what u bought thats a good few mods, i'd get T-loc, and exuast if u dont have it already. after exaust and t-loc i'd suggest cam gears and headers, big hp gain.
as for the turbos, i'd go either to TMA, they make TMA twin turbo sets for V6's or http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv6ati.htm here is the TMA turbo site... http://www.tmaturbo.com/ i highly recommend the TMA twin turbo set, its seems the best, i dont have it but its seems good and ive seen a video from someone who got their TT there |

by the way TMA shows ppl who've gotten the turbo on their website, most look lik they're running mid and low 12's with 320-350hp, so thats compareable to a cobra but much more money saved on the v6 rather then buyin a cobra

at tma you can talk to him he is making a twin turbo kit. Turbos are expensive though. I'm building my car up before I slap two GT28RS dual ball bearing garrett turbos under my hood. A single turbo is also efficient. Joshua Childs made 503 hp and 512 tq. Yea his car was bored out to a 4.2L but still thats a v6 making 500+ hp. I have an automatic also, but I'm gonna try to swap that out for a 6 speed tranny. I'm tryin to find out if it will fit or not.

full bolt ons, a cam, p&p heads and a sheet metal intake will get you over 260-275 rwhp n/a, then add forced induction and you are safe to 350-400rwtq on a locked 7.5" rear until you need the 8.8 or larger axles.

$5000 budget!
i'd go for either the twin turbo set at TMA or a shit load of bolt ons, and exaust list: cold air intake exuast positive tractiion 3.75 gears UD pulley Tuner/chip/comptuer cam gears headers Rims, lowering/racing kit BBK throttle body fuel injectors clutch or u can get this procharger... http://www.rpmoutlet.com/musv6ati.htm and still buy a few things like exaust n some bolt ons |

Dude I would say do bolt ons first. What good is a twin turbo car if your car can't handle what the turbos are doin. I'm doin my best to build the best n/a car I can, and then put twin turbos on there.

you can strech 5k out quite a bit....
maybe swap to 8.8 gt rear with 4.10's, a stroker kit w/matching cam and full exhaust

Do these guys sell a twin turbo kit or is it a single turbo? I saw the vids and see twins on one but the kit they sell shows one.

13.5 seconds! on a TT v6. thats horrible. how could that be a real saleen? if it lost, it must of ran 14's, a GT can run that lightly modded, with just intake and exuast
