if you want mods that will go unnoticed or can slip with simple excuses, heres a decent list of cheap stuff to start with:
-gt take-off h-pipe -gt take-off catback -3.73/4.10 gears -limited slip differential(aka t-lok) -xcal 2/3 tuner -cold air intake also wut you can do is take out your spare, jack and completely gut out your trunk, mneaning that all carpetting and everything must go. i did that to my car and its gotta be at least an extra 15-20lbs lost cuz of that + the spare and jack is 35lbs. so your saving about 50lbs by doing that. if your dad will let you get away with a rear seat delete, you can lose another 40-50lbs too

Hey man check out the exhaust section on American muscle. They sell a kit that converts your y-pipe into an h-pipe. From there you can put any exhaust on that would fit a GT of the same year. You could go with a flowmaster kit or GT takeoffs. The conversion kit is less than $100. I already have that kit, now I'm saving for the flowmaster kit to go with it.
