For 15k you could probably find a 99-02 cobra if you look around and be patient.

^--- that is a GT cobra clone.

4v > 2v

But, for the price...that is good for a s/c GT

basically, in your price range, you are looking at one of the following:

1. Very clean 99-04 GT
2. Supercharged 99-04 GT
3. 03-04 Mach 1
4. 99-01 Cobra
5. 05-06 V6

You could also go with a cheaper car and have money left over for mods...it's just a matter of personal choice. Me personally, I wouldn't want to buy a car with a bunch of mods already done, b/c that is half the fun!

Tell your mom that with a stick shift you are more focused on the road and are less likely to fall asleep at the wheel

V6 = Cheaper , Cheaper Insurance , Cheaper Parts , Decent Power
V8 = Power , Pricey , Higher Insurance , Lower MPG , Has some parts your gonna buy for your V6 (8.8 , Dual Exhaust etc etc)
Cobra = Great amount of power , EXPENSIVE Insurance , Very Low MPG (bad for long trips) , stronger motor etc etc

thats how i see it . as a 6er owner i would say get a v6 doesnt take much to beat a stock v8 while saving a little money on the side

get either a GT, Mach 1, or Cobra...if you can find a Mach 1 or Cobra in your price range I wouldn't hesitate, but if you can't you could easily find a GT
