Headers On Back... Help!

Im wanting to redo my exhaust from headers on back....Im planning on doing it within a month when I get my income tax back....So I had a idea of what to do but Im getting alot of people telling me different things....like long tube headers? Im not sure which would be the best setup for a v6....If any help is given, it would be greatly appreciated....I would like to get the best setup the first time....Money shouldnt be a problem...Im getting a grand back from taxes and I make alot...so thats no problem....and thanks again....

1 grand will limit a full exhaust setup:

mac long tubes (320)
mac short off road H pipe (175)
mac cat back (335)
mil eliminators (60)
o2 sensor extender harness (40)

looking at 930 in parts (and these are cheaper than other companies) plus about a 4 hour install. i did it myself at 16, so you can with basic handtools, jack, jackstand, hacksaw, but it is time consuming.

And you can also get rid of the H pipe, if you don't want it.

your lucky to make it around state inspection with out a problem ...

you want to do it right? ... here is what you do ... click the support our vendors link in my signature send crazylegs (chad) a pm and tell him you would like the long tube header system that onemanzu got ... what that gets you is your long tube headers, your shipping, your O2 extenders, all for $317 ...
from there you wait a month and a half for them to make them and ship them too you... after that you put them on your self take your car to and exhaust shop and have them put on a custom cat back with w.e muffler you want... they can usually do this for around $300-500 dollars... mine was $456.15 and what i got was full off road H pipe 2.5 inch piping and flowmaster 40 series mufflers...

in all i spent just under $800 dollars on all my exhaust modifications and it sound pretty good... i still have some issues i have to work out with it... i need to get some header wrap and some mats for under the car to reduce vibrations... but thats no big deal and is usually about a 1-50 chance that you take when getting MAC headers... (they hand make them in shop)

no. H, X, and no crossover are the same on our cars because the essex v6 is an even-firing motor
