V6 Exhaust System


i def. want to get true dual exhaust for my v6 but I don't want to buy a set up that sounds like a damn ricer, any suggestions? i know there are probably already threads about exhaust but im too lazy to go and look for them

it depends on where you live and your emissions i live in new york so i cant get long tubes which add to a deeper tone...but get a custom exhaust u save a tone of money man...what kind of sound you want the low rumble?

yesterday i got a custom set up done, with a custom H pipe and flowmaster original 40's and it doesnt sound ricer at all! i highly recommend the original 40's. i will have a sound clip this weekend!

well a lot of the sound clips i watch on line are pretty shitty quality to begin with but it seems like when they reach a high rpm it sounds ricey to me

yeah but the camera distorts the sounds a lot, take advice from someone who has the setup already im getting mine come spring

well yeah i figured there wasnt any avoiding the semi ricey tone at higher rpms, i just didnt want it to sound like that constantly

i also keep reading that long tube shit wont fit on any convertible, like ive read long tube headers and long tube h pipes wont fit, anyone have any feedback on this?

Exhaust is a good mod.. Funniest thing is tho. When I went to trade in my car, the guy told me my exhaust was for looks right. I said yea and sound and he laughed and said it doesnt make it any louder. I was like okay. So he cranked it up and said damn that is loud.

i agree but i have the 40s that everyone talks so highly of... your going to have a ricey sound about 3k its just our cars...

i love when people try and act like they know what they are talking about when thay are buying a car from you but really have no clue. same thing happened when i sold my truck.
