Putting in NAV Help!

Ok im gonna be putting in a navigation soon with my boss who used to work in a custom car shop. I talked with him and asked him what it would take to install it. All he told me is he'd help me but i have to get the wire that goes into my speed control or somethin like that so it knows how fast im goin and stuff. Does anyone know what im talkin about and what wire it would be?

No i dont want anything on my window. I had a sirius radio thing and it was annoying so i just mounted it by my pedals. the only thing i would allow up there would be a cop radar. But i wanna no which wire it is.

Go to your local Audio/Video shop and explain what your trying to do and what else you need and tell them someone mentioned another wire .. they will hook you up with it .. might be a lil more cost but you'll get what you want

Where's HMUSN he's gotta know the answer to this. BTW it seems to me if your boss really knows what he's doing then he would know which wire it was.
