i would suggest that you look into a tuner, or gears and t-lok, or some exhaust modifications

+1 exhaust or a handheld tuner such as the SCT x-cal 2/3 would be a good place to start and you could update the tunes as you mod your car

This is my DD.

has anyone ever tried one of these before, is its claim of a 25% increase real or is it trash.

dont get that dude. done go cheap and waste your money. het a real handheld with tunes that you actually do something to your car and improve performance. get an x cal 2 or 3, they are like $399 and well worth the money

hmm looks like a good waste of money to me ... for another $100 you can have a trustworthy, dependable, tunable unit that can change the settings of your car AND you know what its doing... not just plugging it in and forgetting about it

if i were you i would get an xcal2/3 tuner, a zex or nx 75 shot nitrous kit, gears and t-lock and than take it all in for a dyno tune. if i could go back in time, thats wut i wouldve done instead of full boltons like i did

doesnt look like it, my heads and intakes are up for sale now and this time they gotta go cuz my accident really screwed me over in the money department and i need some desperately

at best ill have a 75 shot for the summer still tho so i guess its not that bad. and maybe if im lucky ill be getting new rims late summer. other than that theres no more plans this year for my car. but the summer after i plan on doing major engine work im gonna go with a stage 3 pp w/ new comp cams roller rockers w/ a forged 4.2 from rpm mustangs and than up the shot to 150.

total my accident has cost me $3500. if it wasnt for that, i wouldve had nearly everything done this summer sux thinkin about it, but at least my car looks real badass now

I second the tuner. Plus the Venom probably reads 25% increase from your stock horsepower, which is to the crank anyway, they don't tell you what the actual HP is to the wheels (closer to like 170 or so).

As for internally:
CAI, H-Pipe Flow 40s w/mid-pipe, UD's, 3.73/4.10 (not decided yet), T-5, and a kickass tune!
Eventually, restroke to a 4.2-4.4L! BALLIN'!
Lots of stuff, with not lots of money...lol.

note this 25% could be in a trans am ws6 ... or it could be in a honda with a B series swap... they aren't very specific at all
