that is going to start a big argument. i say its between SCT x-Cal 2/3 and sniper

xcal 2/3 ... these are pre programmed and have to be programmed by someone else... sniper ... these is a device that lets you write your own tune for you car so you can do as you please with it

  let me add by saying stay away from performance chips, they are a waste of money IMO and have extremely limited functionality

personally i like diablosport more. ive had both sct(xcal3) and diablosport(predator) tuners. both of them work, but it seems that the sct unit gives me more trouble. i also think that the diablo is better because it is easier for the user to understand what will do what to the car if you know wut i mean. its just more user friendly. the only reason i sold my diablo tuner for the xcal 3 is because the nearest tuner to me(chris winters at crazy horse racing) uses sct.
so if you plan on a dyno tune, buy a sct xcal2/3. but if you just wanna play with the parameters yourself, get the diablosport predator
