IAT Sensor 2001 Mustang
Hello,
Where is my IAT sensor located? I have a performance module that needs to be put in the IAT, but I can't find what they are referring to. Please, pictures would be great! AND, I do not want to hear about how much money I wasted and how it will do zilch to my car. I just want to know where to put the module. Thanks! you need to throw that performance modual that you bought off of ebay for $10.00 in the trash.
it will hurt your car. I am personally not going to show you how to ruin your car.

lol you waiting to mess up your car
a performance module lol you mean a fricking paper clip with a lil brown shit in the middle lol you know they have it at radio shak for like a hole dime or quater that belongs in the trash it sends false messages to your computer. from there sends those false messages out to your engine its located on your intake going all out performance huh? best lesson you'll learn Power and cheap dont go together, its like water and oil

Ok, and I understand.
I already bought the module, so could any of you please be kind enough to show me where to put it? I understand what may happen to my car, but I'd like to try it out anyways. |

okbefore your throttle body is a long fat black tubing that goes from your air filter to the throttle body maybe like 5-6inches before the throttle body is a wire that goes to the IAT sensor thats in the intake UN-PLUG the sensor dont take it out place the time bomb in the sensor so it can give it false codes ![]() you might wana put some electric tape like your paper should say that it came with lol that held it with some tape ![]() THEN start your car and feel the POWER! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() next step which ISNT listed on the paper that HAS THE INSTRUCTIONS and locates it for you lol is going to be grab your yellow pages or online phone source find the nearest mechanic or shop for engine repair

Ok ok, I get it!
I won't install the module. Its $16 down the drain but it doesn't matter. So... will a new CAI be better?

that is fine truly it really is fine no sarcasm save $$ the $20 intake is like $20 in shipping so about $40 for the intake ![]() that is a good buy rather then the lil paper clip you can TRY it. your Check engine light will appear but nothing SERIOUS will happen its only reading air intake temps you can pull the actually SENSOR its self out of the intake and plug the whole and nothing serious will happen but seriously its not worth it
