i'd say ur better of keepin the 6. finding an engine and installing it is gunna cost you alot. with that money u can mod ur v6 and it'll be faster the a v8.

Thats a big heavy motor to drop into a mustang...I usually suggest a 351. Well for costs be ready to put out some money. Your gonna need to do suspension work, a new wiring harness, the engine, new bigger beafier read end, build up the tranny or a new tranny, then costs for putting it all in. There prob a couple other expenses i left out.

if i were to go with the 351 would it be a lot cheaper then the 427, and would i be able to mod it like i would a stock gt engine because ive not found any parts for an engine that big as far as bolt ons go.

A 351 Windsor would be much cheaper and parts much more plentiful. Most of the parts for a 5.0 will fit the 351w, including heads, cam, etc. You'll be much happier for the money if you took their suggestion and go that route.

i think dropping a 351 is a great idea. i have seen crate motors rated at 400 hp out of the box for 6,000. with that u are going to get alot more reliabilaty than boosting the crap out of the V6 thats still going to cost 5000 for the supercharger AND it still wont put out 400hp.
idk how easy the wiring and actually fiting it in there would be but... i would deff do it if i had the money
