How much heavier is a 8.8" rear end than a 7.5"?

hardly any ... the only thing that is going to feel heavier is the ring pinion and differential cause they are bigger and take a tiny bit more power to spin them.... but over all its not noticeable ... also the unit its self might be like 5-25 more in weight
