I love my borla system, and think its sounds great. Maybe its cause mine is side exhaust that gives it a better sound, or maybe its cause i have headers and hf cats to go with it. find a youtube video of a v6 with a longtubes, hf cats AND borlas and then tell me if the still sound horrible. Most people dont like borlas cause they are very expensive....but id rather pay extra to have a better performing/better quality exhaust.

if you like your thats good! you should you have to drive it. i was simply offering my opinion because i have yet to hear a borla.bassani set up on a 3.8L that sounds good IMO. if you like it im happy for you, im glad you go something you like. im just not a fan and dont recommend it

they r for v8s the only options IMO for the v6 is the flows or mac

i proved you wrong several times with real dyno studies and comparisons. flowmaster comes in 16th out of 17 mufflers on the market for performance. magnaflow ranked 3 in that study, but ranks 1 in most others.

Nope, don't know why you wanted to bring it back up but magnaflow is usually number 3-5.

Again: I never said flows 'outperformed' magnaflows, but sound wise they sound 100x better. And most 6ers want sound over 3hp.

Quit trying.

not to even further continue this argument, but i would like to see numbers with competing exhaust companies.

search a couple pages back. i posted a few (MM&FF, other reputable testers) tests and out of the 17 leading mufflers, flowmaster came in 16th, magnaflow came in 4 or 5 in that one behind a cutout race muffler made by warlock and then a couple other high-end mufflers. the only muffler to perform worse than flowmaster was the number 1-2 muffler with the cutout in place so it was more restrictive.

i also have posted the high-flow cat comparison where magnaflow is by far #1 in flow

Read the underlined statement.

The results in HP order:
1.Flowtech Warlock (open) 374.2 hp/ 333.1 tq
2.Bassani Real Street 373.7 hp/ 333.8 tq
3.Hooker Maxflow 373.5 hp/ 333 tq

thats one test. i posted others before where they have been number one. magnaflow has tests linked on their site that show this too.

also, you will notice the number 1 muffler is also the last place muffler (when closed), so essentially, flowmaster is the worst performing muffler on the market
