cams are usually a last step to pull everything together...

Super Six Motorsports has a cam spec sheet on there website...

There are quite a few factors that go into picking a cam. Talking to Super Six Motorsports or Delk Performance would be your best bet.

With regard to what you should do while you're at it...

1. Heads... when swapping the cam, you're down to the heads anyway, so it makes sense to do them then. The other advantage is that you can have the cam spec'd for your new heads rather than getting heads down the road and having to either get a new cam or live with one that's not spec'd to the new heads.

2. Intakes... You've got to take these off to do the cam, so if you've got the money, it's not a bad idea.

3. Headers... These are removed when doing the heads, so if you do heads, it might make sense to do this as well... LT's of course.

All that being said, obviously any additional mod you can do would be a good idea, but most important would be heads. If you can't do the intakes or LT's at the time of the Heads/Cam, it's not a huge deal to go back and do that later... and you can still see some serious power gains without the intakes or LT's. While they are good supporting mods, they are certainly not a necessity to see good gains from heads/cam.

Yeah, there are a million variables to determining the cam that you need:

1. Heads: stock, P&P, etc
2. Transmission
3. Desired characteristics: Good low-end for daily driving... good top end for power... etc

...The list goes on.

The best way to go is to talk to someone at either Super Six Motorsports or Delk Performance.

The number of "regular" forum members who can legitimately spec you a cam is ridiculously small. Just skip the speculation and go straight to the horse's mouth.
