Swapping In The 4.6

My dad just gave me the ok to swap in the 97 gt engine I have. Before it goes into my car I'm gonna buy the 99-04 gt heads and intakes. This is what you mean by the pi swap right? Can someone link me to the thread where that guy put a 4.6 into his singleport v6? its been posted a couple times.

Man...a GT/CS was fucking with me last night...I got spanked.

But then again...he DID have a substantial head start....

I would just get a 99-04 Gt motor in

would be better than cuz u wouldnt have to change the heads and the intakes to make it split port

Yeah thats true but I already have the 97 gt engine..I'll port and polish the heads and intakes I get while im at it :]

ohh well go to a junkyard and look for a 99+ Gt engine and get some parts out of it.. tho look for low mileage

dont you need a different tranny and ecu and rear end and all that shit

ecu... yes
rear end ... needs to be upgraded a bit

tranny will only work if you have an auto ... might work with a T5 but im not sure

this is a thing that needs to go in the V8 section ... building up 4.6's ... also i will link TPM's thread
