Clicking Noise

The other day I hosed off my engine/hood with water and ever since I did that theres a loud clicking noise from my engine when you turn on the engine, it gets louder as you press the gas. The noise comes from the right side of the engine bay. Heres a picture of a v6 engine and where i think the noise is coming from, and since i was to lazy to take a pic of mine i googled one =). Please tell me this isnt serious. If u want I will make a video/sound clip of it.

yup it sure can. the battery and alternator run hand in hand with each other.

as far as cost.. I would just to the install myself. it's pretty simple
