Service Engine Soon Light?


is there a way i can turn it off our does it have to be hooked to a computer to shut it off??

you can unplug the battery for a little bit and it will shut it off. but it might come back on if the computer sees the problem again.

dont the light come on after so many miles even if there isnt a problem?

Engine codes are stored in the ECUs memory. They will come back on after disconnecting the battery. Find someone with a tuner that u can use as a diagnostic tool and remove it from you cars memory....or you ahve to take it to a shop and they can do it.....cot like 50 bucks for a shop to do it. If its not a problem and just an annoyance id say jsut ignore it.
