H-exhaust?

Instead of a regular dual cat-back from the Y pipe, how beneficial would it be to completely replace the exhaust system and set it up like a GT?

I know it takes some engine mods before any exhaust work is actually beneficial anyways, but I am thinking to do the entire thing because it isn't much more expensive. Opinions?

I actually wasn't sure of what to make of a crossover pipe.. some people say the sound sucks. Performance-wise though it does seem near par to the H.

on your sixer the h and x will make the same power, and also a x-pipe will make at the most i have seen on some cars 1 more horse at peak power. Now for the sound, the x is louder at wot, but the h has a nice deeper sound at low rpms, and idle.

The way to get it to sound "angry" would be some long tubes, h-pipe, flowmasters, and a new camshaft.

hehehe

i wonder if there is a way to get pitch shifts on the fly... put some sort of variable accoustic system and hook it digitally to a small keyboard in the cockpit.

then i can taunt other cars by matching their tone.

I heavily prefer the H pipe on the 6. X pipes make you sound like a ricer all day...

What the hell is this computer program? I understand what it does but WHY???

It serves as the same purpose as the spinners on your exhaust that I found on ebay, or the clip that you hook to your exhaust to give you the sound of a turbo.
