Yesterday my ported and polished upper intake came in.
Today it got installed
took about 2hours due to my throttle body gasket being a bitch and having to be scraped off

will post pictures once the camera is charged
anyway
what am i doing with the stock one?! porting it of course!

not sure wether i'll sell it or not. i'll keep it at a sale of $200+shipping
$100 less then SSMS, RPM, and delk, and NO core charge. so you can keep you own!
Im going to port it pretty decent size, same as the top 3 if i can bigger.
ive already started on the inlet where the throttle body is im going to port that as large as i can safely and 2 runners

I've painted it aluminum. and but a heat protectant coat on the upper intake as the first coat, the 2nd and 3rd is aluminum.
its not close to being done painted but i will post pictures of how it will look

it can also be painted black if the "customer, buyer" desires or blue, red, green, etc..

i figure black or aluminum will be a more popular color.

theres not so many pictures...i figure theres no point in taking a picture of the coil off, throttle cable and such, and i figure you all know what a stock setup looks like soo no need to post that either. just a pic of the upper off. anyway heres this:









my old intake prepped up
i wish i would have taken pics of how dirty it was. each long runner was covered in carbon deposits, i FULLY cleaned the inside and out with degreaser, engine cleaner and of course my personal favorite carb cleaner

water and a brass wire brush were also used. then an air hose

you MUST do a side by side... on the one you took off... if you still have stock size runners take a picture with the intake half done soo people can see how wide the ported intakes will be compared to the stock runners
