For the 4.6 3.73 gears are the ones that work the torque curve best, and if it's a DD you can live with them!

well as of right now i don't do any highway but in a couple years i'll being doing a bit of highway and i wouldnt want to change my gears. if i got 3.73 would i still notice a big difference? and would they affect my engine cuase i'll driving in higher rpms more often?

you wouldnt be driving at that much higher RPM's except maybe on the highway but not buy to much, any yes it will be a noticable difference with 3.73. your engine will be fine, but you will loose a couple MPG's

depends some cars like the acceleration more and it could help them reach cruising speeds easier and led to better milage... ... maybe just an idea...
some cars have better milage at a slightly high RPM for some reason

I have 4.10s in my car and on the highway your car will be at about 3k rpms at around 70mph depending on temperature. How far of highway travel will you be doin in the future?
