What does a Turbo do to your Gas Milage?


even with the larger fuel injectors and oil flo??


high rpms, low rpms??? increase, decrease???

6 psi 8 psi 11 psi???

turbo increase mpg when not in boost while boosting ur mpg will fall

well theres no larger oil flow with a turbo? i dont understand where you get that

and your question isnt specific...are you stepping on it and asking for mpg or cruising?

okay

what would be your MPG say city cruising? Racing? and freeway?

any really signifigent differences? ( i know racing is gonna be a big yes )

and is this the same for like a civic or a bmw ??

better?

Not really but I'll give you a general answer.

Turbo + no boost (cursing) = better mileage
Turbo + boost = mileage down!!!

as the same with any kind of boost, it takes more fuel and air to make more power, thus using more fuel causing your mileage to go down

if you are going to spend a few thousand bucks on a turbo or s/c.....why would mpg be a concern. Figure out how to get the money for a extra power. if mpg is a concern get a hybrid or an electric scooter . Between all my bolt ons and my gears....i dont even wanna know what my mpg will drop to when i get a s/c.
