Gas?


can anyone tell me why is it that when I put gas the needle doesn't go up until sometimes the next day? what can I do to fix that?

Sensor going out?

I know sometimes if I fill up and crank it it without letting it sit for a min it doesn't go up right away.

dam.. what year does that happen to? i hope it isnt 99-04 cause thats the year im gettin and i dont want that

FYI a the car I got here was bought with 100k miles and now it has 130k miles and still hard rock not given any problem just a clutch change

It's the assembly in the gas tank, have your fuel pressure checked the pump may begoing southm also check the wired leading to the tank assembly they enter the trunk on the right side of the rear of the car. A small cannon plug is located out side the car and can get moister into it.

pump and filter jus got replaced like 3 days ago.

is the sending unit located in the gas tank here a link that might make u understand Howstuffworks "How Fuel Gauges Work"

well i bet its because you maintain it well... evn tho you push the hell outta it i bet lol...
