flat black absorbs moisture... and can led to pre mature rusting... it is you choice and i have yet to see it done ...

I think that would be awsome. Flat Black mustang. Just like Rob and Bigs pinto and wasnt that a tahoe that rob had. I have a 2003 R6 which was blue and I got it flat black but with chrome rims..

if flatblack is done riught, it will not rust anymore than a regular paintjob, its a color just like any other, and that doesnt compromise its ability to protect. now if you rattle can it, i would hope your not driving in the rain or around salt water as it could cause problems

do it and the other do is right it wont rust if you get it done right the other thing that would be cool is to get the spray on bed liner and do your car in that. my friend is doin his doge aries in it and i saw a new sti done but it adds alot of weight so it is not smart but it is cool looking

i wouldnt recommend bed lining it; thats make it soooo unsafe in case of an accident imo. u might as well just kiss ur crumple zones goodbye. i have that in my f250 bed & its strong as shiit

I see flat black on 2 many CRX's and I personally just dont like the look of it. Your current paint looks fine to me....and pilot why are you getting such high gears? i say 4.10s highest

next summer im movin to daytona beach--like across the street from the speedway, haha
i wont use it as a daily driver down there, so im willin to put up with a couple months of rough ridin so it'll b killer on the track. plus with how fast i'll go through 1st gear i'll get better & better at shiftin quicker & quicker, lol. i talked to one guy that had 4.30s in his old stang & he said they actually arent that bad

What year did the guy with the 4.30s have? was his an auto? If its gonna be a track car then I think you'll be fine though. o and the eaton 8.8 is nice and with the 31 axles you'll be able to take a lot of power. what are your future plans? N/A? FI?

his was a 99 manual

not sure about long term plans yet...
after the mods in my sig im gonna get suspension & body kit.
might try to make it one of the quickest n/a cars out there. maybe just s/c it. maybe drop in a bugatti W-16 w/ 4 turbos...lol jkjk
but i think im leanin towards just keepin it n/a but fast as hell...more unique then most of 'em out there

but whatever i do i gotta get some more money first, haha

Haha I recommend you go FI. If you're N/A and fast thats cool and everything but if you throw on a supercharger/turbo you'll be even faster :]
