you dont want to put too big of a turbo as youll have to wait for boost to build which isnt fun. youll need to do some reasearch and see what people are having the most succes with. you want a nice balance of boost and street manners, ie: not waiting for the boost to come one. there no reason for you to run a 77mm turbo on a v6 stang unless its arace car, or your only racing it,

Have you ever seen the stock KKK turbo from a 1.8t VW?
The inlet is MAYBE as big as a silver dollar. ![]() COULD you make it fit and get the car to run with it on there? Yeah, probably, but I wouldn't advise it.

He never said it would be effective, he said you CAN USE ANY. which is true, be it a 40mm that blows apart in 5min, or a 108mm that doesn't spool till tomorrow. He never said it was a smart idea!

turbo size has deffinitly come down to a science
its kinda rediculous you have to judge the car by its power and exhaust flow before you can even think of a/r size then a turbo and what exhaust flange you should use then your wastegate if you should go big or small or wait luckily most cars people have already tried turbo'ing ALOT so V8 mustangs have it pretty easy with turbo size, i'd say twin v6s and single turbo 4cylinders have a lil more trouble picking the RIGHT turbos what kinda turbo comes out of the wrx sti? i thought all those cars that came stock with turbo had TINY turbos. at the car show audi, mini, all them cars had like a -T1 flange on there lol with like a 2mm turbo

I'm planning on a TT down the road as well. I was thinking I would go with a t2 and a t3 set up in sequential. That way I would get good boost through the whole power curve, and the t2 would spool pretty quick. How does that sound to everyone? hey chris do you think 2 t3's would be better?
